These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are the agreement between you and Ilia Grace & Co. Inc. for your use of the meing app. They cover how you may use meing, how subscriptions and billing work, and the legal terms that protect both of us. Please read them. By creating an account or using meing, you agree to these Terms.
1. Acceptance of these Terms
By downloading, accessing, or using meing, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old and that you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
2. Who we are
meing is provided by Ilia Grace & Co. Inc., a company incorporated in Ontario, Canada. You can reach us at hello@meing.org.
3. Your account
meing requires you to sign in. We use passwordless authentication: you enter your email address and we send a 6-digit one-time code (OTP) to verify it. You are responsible for keeping access to your email account secure, since anyone with your email can receive a sign-in code. Provide accurate information and let us know promptly if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
4. License to use meing
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use meing for your own personal, non-commercial presence practice. This license is yours alone and may not be resold, sublicensed, or shared.
5. Subscriptions & pricing
meing is free to use with daily check-ins. meing Premium unlocks unlimited check-ins and the full premium experience. Premium is offered as an auto-renewable subscription, purchased through Apple's in-app purchase system. All purchases are processed by Apple — we never handle your payment details.

Prices are in US dollars and may vary by region and currency based on Apple's pricing and any applicable taxes. Pricing shown in the App Store at the time of purchase is authoritative. We may change prices for future purchases; changes never affect a subscription period you have already paid for.
6. Auto-renewal — please read
You manage and cancel your subscription in your Apple account settings: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on your device. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep premium access until the end of the period you've already paid for. Deleting the meing app does not cancel your subscription. Any unused portion of a free trial, if offered, is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
7. Founding Member Lifetime offer
The Founding Member Lifetime plan is a one-time, non-renewing purchase of $79.99 that grants premium access for the lifetime of the meing app. It is a limited offer available only to the first 100 members who purchase it, on a first-come, first-served basis. Once the 100 places are taken, the offer closes. “Lifetime” means the operational lifetime of the meing service; it does not create any obligation to operate the service for any minimum period, and it does not renew or recur.
8. Refunds
All purchases are made through Apple, and refunds are handled by Apple, not by us. We are not able to process refunds directly. To request a refund, use Apple's process at reportaproblem.apple.com. Refunds are granted at Apple's discretion and subject to Apple's terms and applicable law (including any non-waivable consumer rights you may have in your region).
9. Acceptable use
When using meing, you agree not to:
- Use the app for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
- Attempt to access another user's account or data;
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code, except where this restriction is prohibited by law;
- Interfere with, overload, or disrupt the app or our backend (including Supabase);
- Use automated means to access the service or harvest data;
- Resell, redistribute, or make commercial use of the app or its content.
10. Your check-in data
Your check-ins and the “universe” you build belong to you. We make no claim of ownership over your personal check-in data. We store and sync it only to provide the app, as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell it, mine it, or put it to any commercial use. You can export or delete it at any time.
11. Our intellectual property
meing — including its name, logo, the “universe,” spheres, planets, and constellations visuals, affirmations and prompts, design, and software — is owned by Ilia Grace & Co. Inc. and protected by intellectual property laws. Aside from the limited license in §4, nothing in these Terms transfers any of our rights to you. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works from the app or its content without our written permission.
12. Availability & changes to the app
We work to keep meing available and reliable, but we provide it on an “as available” basis. We may add, change, or remove features, and we may suspend or discontinue the app (or any part of it) at any time. We are not liable to you for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the service, though we will give reasonable notice of significant changes where we can.
13. Termination
You may stop using meing at any time and may delete your account directly in the app (Settings → Account → Delete account), which permanently removes your data as described in our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, misuse the service, or where required by law. If we terminate your account for a reason other than your breach, and you hold an active paid subscription, your statutory refund rights through Apple are unaffected. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including §§10–17) will survive.
14. Disclaimers
meing is a presence and wellbeing app. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical, psychological, or mental-health advice, diagnosis, or treatment. It is not a substitute for professional care. If you are in crisis or need help, please contact a qualified professional or your local emergency services. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the app is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
15. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ilia Grace & Co. Inc. and its officers, directors, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of (or inability to use) meing. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the app will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the app in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) CAD $50. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you; nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
16. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ilia Grace & Co. Inc. from any claims, damages, liabilities, and reasonable expenses (including legal fees) arising from your misuse of the app, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.
17. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that the courts located in Ontario, Canada will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence that grant you the right to bring proceedings locally.
18. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make a material change, we will update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Your continued use of meing after the change takes effect means you accept the revised Terms.
